It was recently announced that a parcel of 4.81 fee simple acres of H-2 zoned (hotel and resort) land is for sale on the southwest coast of Maui. The property is located next door to the Maui Coast Hotel, along the Kihei Coast and is about 100 yards from Kamaole Beach which is one of Maui’s most famous white sand beaches.
As we reported in our Hawaiian Islands Timeshare Development Update blog in June, there is a lot of new timeshare development going on throughout the state of Hawaii and specifically on the island of Maui.
On Maui, Hilton will be building brand new Hilton timeshares in a development in Kihei. They are taking the existing Maui Lu property and starting a Hilton timeshares development which will have 216 units.
Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas Swimming Pool
Westin will be adding their third new development on Maui adjacent to the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North which is called the Westin Nanea Resort Villas. Construction has already started and is expected to be completed in 2017. When completed the Westin Nanea resort will have 390 Westin timeshare units consisting of two and three bedroom villas.
