Hilton Grand Vacations has been very active this year in developing more Hilton timeshare vacation opportunities for families to enjoy and two of them are Hawaii timeshares being developed on Oahu and Maui!

We reported earlier this year on the ribbon cutting ceremony at Ocean 22 by Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Myrtle Beach, SC and the plans for the fifth Hilton timeshare vacation club to be constructed on the island of Oahu, the Grand Islander by Hilton Grand Vacations Club.

Following is an update on the Hawaii timeshare of Hilton Grand Islander on Oahu and information on the two newest Hilton resorts to be under construction.

The Grand Islander by Hilton Grand Vacation Club – Construction began last summer on the new tower at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. The Grand Islander is a 37 story, 418 unit tower building being built next to the Tapa Tower on Kalia Road. The Hilton vacation resort will feature one, two and three bedroom suites and penthouses and is expected to open in 2017. The completion of this Hilton resort will make it the eighth Hilton timeshare resort in Hawaii.

Hilton Head Island Resort – Hilton is in the process of developing another property on the Carolina coastline on Hilton Head Island, about 200 miles south of Ocean 22 in Myrtle Beach. The new resort hasn’t been formally named yet, but will feature four buildings comprised of 125 two bedroom units. The new Hilton resort is located on seven acres on South Forest Beach, ideally situated between Coligny District and Sea Pines Plantation. The first phase of construction is underway and the resort is expected to open in the fall of 2016.

Hilton Maui resort – The biggest news? Hilton Grand Vacation Club is coming to the island of Maui! The Maui timeshare resort hasn’t been formally named yet, but will be located on Maui’s south side on the eastern edge of Maalaea Bay and adjacent to the Humpback Whale Sanctuary Visitor Center and Kalepolepo Beach Park. Developed in the style of a Hawaiian villa, this Maui timeshare resort will feature 388 one, two and three bedroom units on 740 feet of oceanfront property and is expected to open in 2017. The addition of a Maui timeshare being developed by Hilton is great news for everyone that loves to vacation on Maui!
