Dining options on site at Marriott Shadow Ridge include The MarketPlace for snacks, ice cream, cold drinks and various other sundries and features Starbucks coffee along with specialty espresso drinks and more. Chuckwalla Pool Bar and Grill and Snakebites Pool Bar and Grill are perfect poolside options for casual dining.
Shadow Ridge Marriott guests are invited to stay active and engaged with on-site lighted tennis courts, 2 half-court basketball courts and a volleyball court. There is a 24 hour fitness center located at the nearby Enclaves and a fitness center with steam room and sauna in the golf clubhouse. Or they can relax at one of the six heated pools, one with a waterslide or they can watch their children play in one of the two splash areas. In addition, there is an interactive park area, kids activity center, outdoor playground and a daily activities program designed for all ages.

As one family commented, they barely scratched the surface of things to do in the area, as they found they enjoyed lounging around the resort a little too much – but that just gave them a good excuse to come back and explore the many things left undone. They did say they managed to fit in a wonderful full day trip to Joshua Tree National Park where they particularly enjoyed hiking the Hidden Valley Loop Trail and taking the Keys Ranch Tour.
The one bedroom, one bath villas sleep 4, while the two bedroom, two bath villas sleep 8. There are select two bedroom, two bath Marriott villas which offer a lock-off option, enabling you to create two separate units; one with a full kitchen, living and dining areas, and the other with a kitchenette. Televisions are located throughout the units along with a DVD player in the master living area. The master suite has a king size bed, oversize soaking tub and separate shower. The beautifully decorated villas offer spacious, furnished private balconies and porches. Each master villa has a washer and dryer for your convenience and complimentary wi-fi internet access.
