For breakfast and dinner, the Nanea Restaurant and Bar located on the first floor of The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas Clubhouse, offers an array of buffet and ala carte options. Princeville is a place where one goes for beauty, nature, and relaxation, not for shopping or night life. If this is what you are seeking, then this is a wonderful resort for families or for couples of all ages. It is beautifully furnished, landscaped, and maintained.” They went on to say, “The pools are very nice and very child friendly. The restaurant was good, and the happy hour prices and selection pool-side were great. There is an on-site market which had a good selection of food and beverages, including fish and meats for grilling at reasonable prices.”
Getting around Princeville is easy with the Westin courtesy shuttle. The Westin courtesy shuttle transports guests to and from the St. Regis Princeville hotel and also to the following locations upon request: the Princeville Airport; the Makai Golf Course; Princeville Ranch Stables; and the Princeville Shopping Center.
Although the resort does not have a beach, guests do have beach privileges at the nearby St. Regis Princeville which another recent guest commented about. He stated, “One of the great perks of staying at the resort is that you have beach privileges at the St. Regis Princeville, which is about a mile down the road. There’s free and frequent shuttle service to the St. Regis and we took advantage of it. The view of Hanalei Bay is breathtaking from the St. Regis beach.”
This same guest went on to say, “There are several things we love about the place: beautiful pools located throughout the resort and a kid’s pool that’s a treat for the little ones. The outdoor grills which are cleaned every day, beautifully maintained, and used by many guests. It was a real highlight and a great place to meet other folks as we were cooking our dinner.” He also liked the proximity to the Kilauea Lighthouse, the little town of Hanalei, Kee Beach and the headlands of the Napali Cliffs trail. This guest’s final comment was, “All in all, it’s a privilege to stay here and we look forward to many return visits in the years ahead.”
