Construction for the Westin timeshare property at Westin Nanea Ocean Villas on Maui began earlier this year and is expected to be completed in mid-2017.
This will be the third Westin timeshare on Maui and is located on the north Kaanapali Beach adjacent to the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North.

The Maui timeshare resort will consist of three types of villas – one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom villas for a total of 390 villas configured in two view categories – resort view and oceanfront views.

One bedroom villas
All the one bedroom units will be resort view. One bedroom villas have one bath, a kitchenette, a balcony and sleeps up to four people. To view the one bed floor plan, click on:
Two bedroom villas
Two bedrooms will come in resort view and oceanfront. Two bedroom villas have two baths, a kitchenette, a balcony and sleep up to six people. To view the two bedroom floor plan, click on:
Three bedroom villas

All units will have washers and dryers in them. NOTE: These are not lock-off units.
HOME OPTION VALUE Information:
Each villa has a “home option” value associated with it:
The one bedroom resort view has a home option value of 81,000
The two bedroom resort view has a home option value of 148,100
The two bedroom oceanfront has a home option value of 176,700
The three bedroom oceanfront has a home option value of 257,700
Annual Fees:
The current annual fees for the one bedroom is $1,441
The two bedroom resort view is $2,663
The two bedroom oceanfront is $3,142
The three bedroom oceanfront is $4,582
As a property owner at this Westin timeshare resort, you can book into your villa for seven days and seven nights, between 8 to 12 months in advance and your check-in can be any day of the week. Check-in is not restricted to Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Less than 8 months in advance it converts into StarOptions and you can book into any villa including the Westin Nanea Ocean Villas or any other Starwood Vacation villa resort for any number of nights, any check-in day, depending on the number of StarOptions you have.
This is a Voluntary Resort which means StarOption benefits, Starpoint benefits and SPG program benefits will not transfer to a timeshare resale purchaser. So, a timeshare resale purchaser will get “home options” which they can use at their home resort and all external exchanges will be done through Interval International.
Please note there are currently no resales available at this Maui timeshare property because it is still under construction and for a seller they have to have ownership before they can convey title to another party.
Retail purchasers should take note that since this is a Voluntary Resort, StarOption benefits and Starpoint benefits will NOT transfer to a timeshare resale purchaser and will affect the resale value of their timeshare.
