Timeshare vacation club ownership may not be for everyone, but for those who love to travel and explore new places it works very well for most people. And for those who have found their favorite vacation destination for them and their family to enjoy every year in Hawaii, Florida or California, then timeshare works for them too!
Some time share owners have found it difficult to get their exchange requests through RCI or Interval International confirmed and become disappointed with the exchange companies systems. This can be due to the week that was given to the exchange company didn’t have enough trading power to get them into that resort.
Or it could be the timeshare owner didn’t request their exchange far enough in advance. Or the resort or location of the timeshare has a low trading power.
Timeshare exchanges require planning. If you are not the type of person who plans your vacations in advance, then timeshare may not be for you. Although, I do know of timeshare owners who purchased just to use the instant exchange and bonus week features.
