All our Hawaii timeshare resale owners should be thrilled to hear that after years of speculation, Southwest Airlines has confirmed they will start flying to Hawaiʻi after the first of the year 2018.
While Southwest isn’t ready to identify the mainland to Hawaii routes it will fly, or exactly when the service will begin, they did say they will start selling tickets to Hawaiʻi beginning next year and will offer fares that are lower than those currently in the marketplace.
The flights will utilize Southwest’s newly acquired Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which the airline explains is the next generation of the 737 models.
It’s not yet known which airports will offer direct nonstop service to Hawaii. It is also not yet known if other airports on the islands beyond Honolulu International Airport will have the Southwest service.
Certainly great news for all our Hawaii timeshare resale owners!
