Today I’d like to talk about the Marriott timeshare resale at Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club Resort located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
The Marriott timeshare resort of Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club Resort is located on the west side on the island of Oahu. It’s about 30 – 45 minutes from downtown Honolulu depending on the time of day. It is a beachfront property with several lagoons providing safe swimming areas. There is a trail or path running parallel with the beach for joggers or to enjoy a leisurely stroll.
The Marriott KoOlina timeshare is near the JW Marriott property and also the Disney Aulani resort property. At the Marriott KoOlina Beach Club property there are several swimming pools including a children’s outdoor pool, a fitness center, a convenience market, Longboard’s Bar & Grill and Nai’a Pool Bar and there is an 18 hole golf course nearby.
There are two view categories at this Marriott timeshare – mountainview and oceanview units. There are two bedroom standard units, which means they are not lockoff units, and then there are also two bedroom lockoff units. All the three bedroom units are lockoff units. Both of these unit sizes, the two bedroom and the three bedroom units come in oceanview and mountainview categories.
The two bedroom lockoff unit sleeps up to 8 people, has a full kitchen, washer and dryer in the living room and a pull out sofa in the living room. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a king bed, pull out sofa, a small refrigerator, microwave and kitchen sink – there is no washer and dryer.
The three bedroom unit is actually a two bedroom standard unit with a studio lockoff. In other words, it has a king bed in the master bedroom, the living room has a pull out sofa, a full kitchen and washer dryer. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the third bedroom, which is the lockoff, has a king bed so that the unit can sleep up to 10 people.
The annual maintenance fees, including taxes for a two bedroom lockoff for the year 2014 is $1,864 and the annual maintenance fees and taxes for the three bedroom lockoff for the year 2014 is $2,051.
There are two season categories – the Platinum season is weeks 1 – 50 and Platinum Plus season includes weeks 51 and 52 which are the Christmas and New Year’s weeks.
These are deeded timeshares granting you ownership forever. If you want to make an exchange you can go through Interval International or if you are part of the Marriott Destination Points Program then you can utilize the exchange through the Marriott Destination Points Program into other Marriott timeshare resorts.
