It’s Christmas time and where else are you most likely to see Santa in shorts and flip flops and the elves out surfing? Why Maui of course! Our “white Christmas” involves the white foam of beautifully formed waves caressing the warm sandy beaches. The spirit of Aloha is mixed with Christmas Cheer and it is a wonderful time to be on Maui.

Whaler’s Village has a large beautiful display at the entrance. I just love the Hula Santa with the dolphins in place of reindeer. Only in Maui!
Ka anapali Beach Club Christmas 2011
The Ka anapali Beach Club has a pretty impressive display of gingerbread houses and beautiful red poinsettia’s everywhere.
Next, I headed to the Westin Ka anapali Ocean Resort Villas. As far as I’m concerned, they won the prize for putting their timeshare owners in the holiday spirit. I really thought it was the best because the lobby was so beautifully decorated and the pool and ocean can be seen in the background. They have a beautiful tree as the focal point and a really nice display of gingerbread houses.
