It was announced recently that Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. has purchased a site in the center of Waikiki in order to develop a new Hilton Grand Vacation Club 32 story, 191 villa timeshare resort tower. The planned Hilton timeshare resort will become the sixth Hilton timeshare property to be developed in Honolulu within the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.
The Grand Islander by Hilton
The Grand Islander by Hilton Grand Vacation at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort construction was completed in March 2017.
Construction on the new Hilton timeshares project is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2019, with a completion date targeted for the first quarter of 2022. Sales are expected to start in mid-2020.
Following the completion of the new tower, Hilton Grand Vacations will have a total of 1,429 Hilton timeshare units on Oahu. The additional timeshare resorts located within the Hilton Hawaiian Village complex are the Grand Waikikian, Lagoon Tower, Kalia Tower, Grand Islander and Hokulani Waikiki.
