Ruth's Chris Wine List

We went to dinner at Ruth’s Chris in Wailea Maui at The Shops at Wailea recently. We have been to many Ruth’s Chris, however this is one of the best!

To start with the servers have been with the restaurant since it opened in 2000. That in itself says a lot about a restaurant. We had an added surprise to find out it was Wine Wednesday where all the wines are 25% off and on Wednesdays there is free entertainment at The Shops at Wailea. There was live Hawaiian music and a fire dance.  It was all very entertaining.

Back to this amazing dinner. We started with the Ruth’s Chris chopped salad followed by shoestring potatoes, mushrooms and a Cowboy ribeye which is a bone in ribeye. We chose a Turley Zinfandel 2007 which was perfect with the dinner.

Afterward we went to Laperts at the shops for our dessert. This was one of the best meals I have had at a restaurant in a long time.

We have a ritual of going to Ruth’s Chris in Lahaina for Halloween which we did this past Halloween and the food and service was nothing like the meal we enjoyed in Wailea.

If you are staying at your timeshare at Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas or Marriott Maui Ocean Club I recommend taking that beautiful drive to Wailea.
