As we reported earlier, there are two name brand Maui timeshares currently being developed and one has already begun sales.
The Hyatt Ka’anapali Beach is located on the shore of Kaanapali beach on the western end of Maui and began their timeshare sales program in January of this year. The Hyatt timeshare increases the inventory in the Maui timeshare market with an additional 131 units consisting of one, two and three bedroom luxuriously furnished units. Additional features of this Hyatt timeshare include an 8,000 square foot open-air lobby, a retail store, a casual dining restaurant, a family pool and an adult pool, a multi-level pool deck, and a 3,300 square foot state of the art fitness center with instructor led classes and free weights. The exclusive Day Lounge offers Hyatt timeshare guests both men’s and women’s relaxation areas that include showers, televisions, wi-fi, lockers and other conveniences for those guests with evening departures from the island.
Starwood Vacation Ownership is also developing a 26 acre oceanfront Maui timeshare on Kaanapali beach adjacent to the Westin timeshare of Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas.
This Westin timeshare at Westin Nanea Ocean Villas is scheduled to open in 2017 and will add an additional 390 luxury villas into the timeshare market on Maui.
Resort amenities will include a 10,000 square foot, lagoon style swimming pool with an upper pool, children’s beach pool and play area, two plunge pools, three oceanfront cabanas and a Westin WORKOUT studio. Additional amenities include a full service restaurant, a pool bar, as well as access to the resort amenities at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas next door, including Spa Helani.
