3rd Annual Fashion Show Scholarship Fundraiser at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua Plantation Ballroom from 6pm – 9pm.
Obon Dance & Festival held at the Lahaina Shingon Mission honors the spirit of those who passed with special services and festivities. Services at 6:30pm, festival/Bon dance starts at 7:30pm.
June 7 – 9, 2013
Kapalua Wine & Food Festival held at the Ritz-Carlton Resort Kapalua kicks off Saturday with the Festival Golf Tournament 7am shotgun start on the Bay Course, Kapalua. Festivities include wine and cheese seminars, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, a wine tour and seafood festival.

Zenshin Daiko’s 14th Annual Taiko Festival at the Castle Theater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center at 7pm. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the premiere of two exciting pieces.

6am – 2pm – South Maui Triathalon at Wailea – An Olympic distance event to be held on the grounds of the beautiful Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.

6pm – 9pm – First Friday Lahaina is especially suited for a Maui Friday Town Party because of its intimate Front Street setting, cultural and historic significance, and reputation for hosting fun. Historic, ocean front buildings host a wide selection of eateries with casual takeout, family restaurants and fine dining. The lively art and entertainment scene, fascinating museums and historic sites co-exist with a bustling retail district.

9am – 5pm – Lahaina, Na Kamehameha Commemorative Pau Parade & Hoolaulea – Honoring the memory of the Kamehameha lineage, the Island Of Maui celebrations with a parade & hoolaulea (festival). Parade starts from Front St to Kenui St to Shaw St in Lahaina starting at 9 a.m. Hoolaulea will follow the parade at Kamehameha Iki Park with music, dance, food and displays.
8pm – 11:45pm – Taste of Chocolate at the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea. This year the Mabanzi Marimba Maui band will perform for guests listening and dancing pleasure.

7pm – 11pm – ArT=Mixx: Pop Fashion held at the Pavillion/Courtyard at Maui Arts & Cultural Center is an interactive, 21 and over social event that connects artist and audience in a fusion of performing and visual arts.

2pm – 7pm – Kī Hō‘alu Guitar Festival 2013 at the Pavillion/Amphitheater at Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Make plans to come and enjoy an all-star lineup of Hawai‘i’s best slack key guitar musicians in a laid-back, local-style ambiance that lingers until dusk.
