The beautifully decorated and spacious Marriott timeshare two bedroom two bath lock-off Villages villas are approximately 1,250 square feet, while the two bedroom two bath deluxe lock-off at the Enclaves are approximately 1,331 square feet. Both easily accommodate eight with mountain, lake and fairway views. The spacious, open living and dining areas include televisions, a DVD player in the living room and gas or electric fire places. Each villa offers a fully equipped kitchen, master suite with king size bed, oversize soaking tub and separate shower, fully furnished private patios or balconies, in villa washer and dryer and complimentary internet access.
2013 Maintenance Fee:
The 2013 maintenance fee for Silver, Gold and Platinum weeks at this Marriot timeshare (both Shadow Ridge Villages and Shadow Ridge Enclaves) in a luxurious two bedroom, two bath lock-off villa (which includes the reserve fee, property tax and operating fee) is $1,085.37.

Marriott Vacation Club requires a 15 day ROFR at Marriott’s Shadow Ridge, Palm Desert, California.
Marriott Vacation Club has a Right of First Refusal for resales of Marriott Vacation Club timeshares. Following you will find the Right of First Refusal policy which is described and defined on the Marriott Vacation Club website:
“Right of First Refusal – In accordance with the Public Offering Statements for Marriott Vacation Club an Owner who is interested in selling their timeshare privately is required to comply with the Right of First Refusal policy. Owners must notify Resale Operations of their intention to sell. At this point, Marriott Vacation Club has the option to either exercise the option, i.e. a direct repurchase in accordance with the terms of the external contract, or waive the option, i.e. the Owner is free to proceed with the external transaction. A formal waiver will be prepared, in recordable form, and forwarded to the Owner and/or Title Company that has made the request. Requests are responded to in a timely manner and in accordance with the requirements in the Public Offering Statement.”

Several Marriott timeshare owners stayed at this beautiful desert resort this past summer and one family that stayed in the Villages section commented they “would definitely recommend this resort, especially for families”. They enjoyed the children’s activity center and especially appreciated that guests could borrow various board games without a fee. They also enjoyed the movie that was shown at the pool on the weekend.
They went on to say how much they “loved the location of the resort.” They visited the Living Desert and the Children’s Museum and said “both were great and definitely was one of the better children’s museums we have been to”. They added, “The Living Desert is only open in the mornings in summer so make sure you get there as soon as it opens. All the attractions are quite close by and easy to get to with a car.”
Another family stayed in the Enclaves section earlier in the summer and commented about the balcony off the living room which “was a really large and furnished with some comfy loungers and tables. We spent a lot of time on this lovely space.”
They commented, “The Snakebites pool is in the Enclaves area and consists of a large pool with a zero entry, a small beach area for kids to play in, two hot tubs and one smaller traditional pool. There are ample shaded lounging areas and a little snack bar called Snakebites.”
Both families enjoyed the larger pool area in the Chuckwalla area, and observed “it is more in the center of the Villages section of the resort. The Chuckwalla area has a water slide for kids as well as the MAZE activity center.”
