Today I’d like to talk about timeshare resales at the Marriott Kauai Beach Club Resort located on the island of Kauai. Marriott Kauai Beach Club was the first vacation ownership property for Marriott in the islands of Hawaii. The Marriott Kauai Beach Club is a hotel conversion property located in the Lihue area with about a five to ten minute drive from the Lihue airport. The Marriott timeshare resale resort is located oceanfront on Kalapaki Beach.

Marriott Kauai Beach Club is a timeshare resale resort property consisting of one bedroom lockoff units and two bedroom lockoff units at this resort.  As far as the amenities at this Marriott timeshare resort, there is a 26,000 foot swimming pool area, with 5 outdoor whirlpool spas, a resort spa and salon, a fitness center, retail shopping arcade and five restaurants and lounges.  Tennis courts are available nearby at Kauai Lagoons along with the Kauai Lagoons 27 hole championship golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

There are 3 view categories at this Marriott timeshare resort – oceanfront, ocean view and garden view units.  The one bedroom units are lockoff units and there are also two bedroom lockoff units.

The configuration in the one bedroom lockoff units is that in your living room there is a wall pullout bed, a kitchen sink, microwave, a small refrigerator, a dishwasher and a place setting for 4. The master bedroom has a king bed and there are two full bathrooms.

The two bedroom lockoff units have a wall bed, the same kitchen amenities being a kitchen sink, microwave, small refrigerator and dishwasher. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has either a king bed or two double beds, so the unit sleeps six people.

The one bedroom can be locked off to make it a two week vacation. The two bedroom can also be locked off and you get a one bedroom vacation for one week and the hotel room for the second week, thus making it a two week vacation.

All owners have platinum season usage which are weeks 1 – 52 which includes all weeks of the year with deeded interest.  The annual fees for 2014 for the one bedroom lockoff units are $1,480 and the two bedroom lockoff fees are $1,628.

To make exchanges you either go through Interval International or if you are part of the Marriott Destination Points Program you can trade internally into other villas without going through Interval International.
