The popular CBS drama, Hawaii Five-O, has entered its second season and was filming an episode at Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Hilton Hawaiian Village on November 17, 2011. Imagine the excitement of those timeshare owners lucky enough to be enjoying their timeshare vacation during the filming!
It began as just another perfect day in Honolulu with palm trees swaying, turquoise waters lapping the shore at Fisherman’s Wharf with the endless blue sky above. Then, there was someone yelling “fire in the hotel”, a car on the pier exploding into a huge fireball and frightened tourists running for cover!
Just another day of filming on the set of Hawaii Five-O – the updated version of handsome cops in a tropical paradise solving crimes. The second season promises more action in the way of not just car bombs, but corruption, terrorism, treason and who knows what else!
With an average of 13 million viewers per episode, Hawaii Five-O is the highest-rated new drama on TV and the most-DVR’ed show of the season.
The show earned a solid and loyal fan base the first season. This year with the additions to the cast and a wider scope, the show is set and expected to deliver a smashing second season.
