Well, I received a call back from the Resort Condominium International (RCI) Settlement Administrator department today. It has been just a little over two weeks since I placed the call asking if RCI had the Class Action Settlement Form translated in Spanish. I have had several requests on how to locate a form in Spanish. 
Unfortunately, the answer is no. In response to my question asking if RCI plans to provide such a document, the response was, no plans to at this time.
I told the representative that I have received numerous requests in response to our recent articles by people requesting where they could get a copy of the document in Spanish. I added that I think it is a serious oversight on RCI’s behalf not to provide the document in Spanish, as there are obviously many owners of RCI timeshares that would like to be able to file their Settlement Form in Spanish.
At this time, I would like to encourage all RCI timeshare owners who would like a copy of the Settlement Form in Spanish, to contact RCI’s Customer Service department and request the form in Spanish. There is a link to the Class Action Settlement webpage on RCI.com
I was told there was a phone number in the information however I could not locate it. Perhaps if RCI receives enough calls, they will recognize the importance of having the form available to all their members – both in English and in Spanish.
I will continue to follow up and keep you posted on any information I receive concerning this issue.
