AULANI CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER OPTIONS – Sunday, December 25, 2016
The Kalona Ballro/om will be transformed for the occasion into a holiday Hawaiian paradise. The Aulani chefs will treat you to an unforgettable culinary buffet adventure while local musicians regale you in song and favorite Disney Characters stop by for greetings, hugs and one-of-a-kind holiday photos!
First Seating: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Second Seating: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Attire: Casual attire is recommended
Following you will find some of the tasty treats the Chef’s will be preparing for everyone in the family to enjoy:
Chilled Starters
An assortment of salads which include – Island hand-picked green salad mixture served with papaya seed and Maui onion dressings, layered heirloom tomatoes, basil leaves and fresh mozzarella sprinkled with sea salt and fresh ground peppers and pinach salad with dried cranberries, candied walnuts and bacon dressing. Also on the menu is a pasta and asparagus salad with white balsamic vinaigrette, shrimp avocado salad and a tofu, O’ahu watercress and pipikaula (Hawaiian-style corned beef). There will also be a selection of seasonal and tropical fruits and assorted berries.
Chef’s Entrées
Bamboo rice with red bell peppers, roasted baby carrots and Romanesco broccoli and white rose mashed potato
Pan-seared mahi mahi with chestnut butter and breast of chicken with pineapple mango salsa
Carving Station
Prime rib of beef served with natural juices and atomic horseradish sauce
Baked ham served with Dijon marmalade accompanied by creamed spinach casserole
Artisanal rolls and sweet butter

An assortment of cakes, tarts, puddings and cobblers that include:
Gingerbread spiced roll cake, chocolate cream tart, a no-sugar-added cranberry cheesecake, eggnog mousse parfait, cream puffs, gingerbread spiced bread pudding, apple cobbler, chocolate molten cake, brownies along with an assortment of holiday cookies, Stollen and Rice Krispy treats!
Aulani has not forgotten the little ones in the family and have a special Keiki Buffet planned which offers cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza made with tomato sauce, graham cracker chicken strips with BBQ sauce, celery and carrot sticks served with ranch dipping sauce, strawberry and marshmallow brochettes and mini Christmas cupcakes and assorted Christmas cookies.

ʻAMAʻAMA Christmas Entrée – In addition to the full daily menu, the Chef is proud to feature a special Christmas Dinner menu of slow-roasted dry-rubbed Prime Rib which is served with truffle potato puree, asparagus, roasted maitake mushrooms, roasted garlic, bone marrow butter and au jus.

Red quinoa and baby kale salad with feta cheese and citrus vinaigrette, a baby spinach salad with gorgonzola cheese, Fuji apples, roasted beets and shallot-sherry vinaigrette, wedge salad with vine ripe tomatoes, smoked bacon, cucumber and blue cheese dressing, a traditional Caesar salad with white anchovies, Reggiano parmesan and classic Caesar dressing, Atlantic salmon and local watercress with fried tofu and miso vinaigrette and a Kahuku corn crab chowder.
