If you are lucky enough to be on Maui this Thanksgiving you have a variety of dining options to choose from. We’ve put together a list for you that includes everything from the traditional Thanksgiving dinner or buffet to a sunset dinner cruise or luau.

The Pacific Whale Foundation offers a Thanksgiving dinner cruise aboard its high speed power catamaran on Thanksgiving Day. The cruise features live entertainment and dinner with roast turkey, baked ham, side dishes and desserts. The cruise usually lasts about two hours from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Luaus are a great (and unique) way to spend Thanksgiving Day. The majority of the Luaus on Maui will be substituting the Shoyu Chicken for turkey and adding stuffing and other fixings to their normal dinner buffet. There is a fun hula show after the sun sets, with entertainment provided throughout the evening. And remember, on Maui all the luaus are oceanfront!

South Maui – Wailea Hotels and Resorts
Grand Wailea Hotel and Spa has opted out of doing a buffet this year and is concentrating on their Thanksgiving Luau. Call 888.841.9155 for tickets.
Wailea Marriott is offering a Thanksgiving Buffet from 5:30pm – 9:30pm at the Mala restaurant which is owned by one of Maui’s famous chefs, Mark Elman. Call 808.875.9394 for reservations. The Wailea Marriott is also holding a Thanksgiving luau outside on the lawn from 4:30pm to 8pm.
Four Seasons Resort in Wailea is SOLD OUT.
Fairmont Kealani is having their Thanksgiving feast on the lawn in front of their hotel which offers fabulous ocean views. Call 808.874.8000 for reservations.
West Maui
Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa usually serves Thanksgiving dinner at the Kekaa Terrace Restaurant from about 12:30pm to 9:00pm – call to confirm. The menu typically includes a carving station featuring turkey with macadamia nut dressing served with special side dishes such as cranberry mandarin orange relish. Other entrees include beef prime rib, baked ham and a fish dish such as mahi mahi with toasted macadamia nuts. For reservations call 808.662.8053.
Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort and Spa serves their special Thanksgiving dinner in the OnO Bar and Grill Restaurant from about 5pm to 9pm – call to confirm. The menu typically features roast turkey with sage, pecans and sourdough dressing, roast beef, baked ham and usually a seafood dish such as paella bamboo steamed fish. For reservations call 808.667.2525.
Kaanapali Beach Hotel is considered by many as Maui’s most Hawaiian Hotel and is well known for their local style Thanksgiving buffet. The lunch buffet is from 11am to 1:30pm and the Thanksgiving dinner buffet is served from 3:30pm to 7:00pm. For reservations call 808.661.0011.
Ritz Carlton Kapalua is offering a buffet at The Terrace Restaurant and The Banyan Tree Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton is doing a turkey plate. Call 808.669.6200 for additional information, times and reservations.
