Starwood Vacation Ownership recently held a ground breaking ceremony at the oceanfront setting for the new Maui timeshare of The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas. Scheduled to open in 2017, this newest Westin timeshare will feature 390 beautifully designed and decorated villas set on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world – Ka’anapali Beach.

In addition, this new Maui timeshare resort will feature a wide variety of amenities, including an expansive lagoon-style pool and a beach bar.

This new Westin timeshare resort will pursue the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for high performance buildings and will be infused with a variety of Hawaiian design elements.

Situated on a 26-acre property that includes a ten-acre public park, The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas resort amenities include a 10,000-square-foot lagoon-style swimming pool with an upper pool, children’s beach pool and play area; two plunge pools; a beach bar; a full service restaurant; three oceanfront cabanas and a WestinWORKOUT studio.

The full-service restaurant on site will offer ocean views and a menu of Hawaiian and international cuisine, plus the Westin brand’s signature SuperFoodsRX menu. The pool bar will provide a relaxing setting to enjoy oceanfront views, cocktails and lighter fare.

The resort will offer cultural programming celebrating the local Hawaiian and Maui history, arts and crafts and music and dance. In addition, Westin timeshare owners will have access to the resort amenities at The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas located next door which includes Spa Helani, a Heavenly Spa by Westin.

The new Westin resort will aim to inspire “Nanea,” a state of relaxation and repose. All villas will feature the world-renowned Westin Heavenly Bed and the Heavenly Bath amenities which will be further enhanced with the Westin brand’s Heavenly Shower, Heavenly Robe and White Tea Aloe bath amenities.

Starwood currently has three Hawaii timeshare resorts with the Maui timeshare at Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas and Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North and the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas on Kauai.
