Last Sunday Syed and I took a trip over the pond to Oahu.
There was an owners meeting at Lifetime in Hawaii at Royal Kuhio and it gave us an excuse to enjoy some of Waikiki’s wonderful food. We reserved a table for Sunday night at Morimoto’s.
I have watched Iron Chef as I am sure many of you have. I have enjoyed watching Chef Morimoto create some wonderful works of art and usually winning the competition. This restaurant does not disappoint!
The food is a work of art and the flavors over the top amazing. We chose the Chef’s choice tasting menu. The first course was Ahi and Yellowtail but as I have never seen it served before. The second course was like a fondue in a beautiful white bowl served with raw vegetables.
There were two more courses of raw fish and the main course was Lobster, steak, pork and I can’t remember the rest. Good thing we have attached a video to the blog article so your eyes may enjoy Mr. Morimoto’s incredible feast. The cost was $120.00 per person.
All I can say is save your pennies for this dinner. It is so worth it. Monday night we were talking about where to go for dinner and decided to return to Morimoto’s. What could we do? We would have only compared it to Morimoto’s.
